Showing in New Zealand , Group places are as follows.

Best and Reserve Of Group, Group 1 and 2 . Other placings are for age, Baby Puppy Of Group (3 -6 months) Puppy Of Group (6-12 months), Junior Of Group (1- 2 years), Intermediate Of Group (2 - 3 years) ,NZ Bred Of Group (6 months and older bred in NZ), Open Of Group (dog of any age may enter this class and all Imported dogs over 3 years).

Challenge Certificates (Cc's) are given to the Best Dog and Bitch of each breed at each show. Eight CC's are needed to get the title of New Zealand Champion and at least 1 needs to be won after the age of 12 months.

Any Group win allows you to compete in the corresponding class for an IN Show award.

The Group we show in is the Gundog Group comprising all those dogs bred to perform a function in the field over feather or after fur.
